SmartCard is Top Selling Pre-Paid Card at area 7-Eleven and Wawa
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania—June 15, 2008—OmPay® is proud to announce the Philadelphia’s own SmartCard is top selling pre-paid product at select 7-Eleven and Wawa stores. With a crowded shelf, the SmartCard is showing that convenience is trumping other pre-paid products. In a short few months since it’s launch in both 7-Eleven® and Wawa® the SmartCard has connected with customers by eliminating the stress of needing for coins at the meter resulting in it becoming the top selling pre-paid product at many of their Philadelphia area stores.
“I can’t say we didn’t know this was going to happen, but we did” said Paul DeJoe, Director of Retail Distribution. “It is pretty simple, search for coins the ashtray or pull out your SmartCard at the parking meter.”
Much planning and preparation has gone into the launch of the SmartCard with these two convenience store giants but over time all three organizations believe the SmartCard will continue to grow.
